My Child, why are you placing your trust in things that will simply pass away?

This world, with all its promises of safety and security, is fleeting and ever-changing.

Instead, seek me, for I am the constant you are searching for.

Unlike the world, my way is unchanging and unaffected by human hands. My peace is eternal.

Let go of the struggle and abide in me. For in this place, you shall find genuine rest.

The world will fall away, but my peace endures forever.

Lord, teach us to rest in your everlasting peace.
